what if the only thing standing between you and the life you want is a story you've been telling yourself?

do you find yourself settling, shrinking, or choosing what’s familiar over what you truly want because you’re afraid or you don’t believe in yourself?

we often choose the familiar over the uncomfortable unknown, even when we know it isn’t in service of our goals.

it's the idea you keep putting off. the boundary you keep moving. the things you say yes to when you want to say no. how much of your life are you choosing based on what you’re afraid of?

when, if not now?

you don’t need to dismiss it just because it feels uncomfortable, someone might not understand, or you don’t know exactly how to get there.

the difference between the life you're living and the life you want to live begins with a decision.

a decision to think differently, move differently, and carry yourself unapologetically.

the life you're living doesn't have to be the life you keep living.

the power of the coaching space

sometimes you need space to hear yourself think. to say things out loud, question what you’ve always believed, and figure out what you actually want.

that’s what we do in coaching. we get curious about where you feel stuck, what keeps resurfacing, and what’s holding you back.

you don’t have to come with a perfectly crafted goal or a plan. we can start with whatever’s on your mind and figure it out along the way.

what you can expect from me is this:

I will hold nothing back. I will challenge you. Sometimes it'll be uncomfortable.

Sometimes you won't want to say the truths out loud. But it's beyond those uncomfortable truths that growth is waiting.

And remember, you are always in the driver's seat.

In the midst of it all, I will lovingly support you through every challenge you face on your journey to discovering the version of you beyond paper walls.

let's hear from those who've been through it ♡

"From the beginning, she made me feel comfortable and safe, which made it much easier to open up. … We were able to identify one deeper struggle behind many of the emotional issues we discussed—the feeling that I am not enough. … Recognizing that has been the most important outcome for me because now I have a much clearer understanding of where to start and how I can begin challenging that belief within myself."

-ana

“I realized I feel like I need to be perfect at everything before I even start. Karyna's helped carry me through discovering that all it takes is starting in a small way. … Being held accountable while simultaneously being deeply supported has inspired me to make changes in my life that I’ve avoided thus far. I now am taking finding a career change seriously and I don’t know when I would have accepted that otherwise.”

- Adriana cyganska- rn

"Working with Karyna was magical. She is deeply intuitive and understands people on a deeper level. She helped me look beyond my habits and understand what was underneath them. Instead of giving me another list of things I should be doing, she helped me shift my perspective from feeling like I needed to try harder to having more understanding of myself."

-N.F

“Karyna is a great listener. She takes the time to think through each of her responses. … I was vulnerable and self reflective throughout this experience and I think that aided me in hitting a weight goal I hadn’t been able to in more than 2 years. … Karyna made me realize that sometimes things that seem simple and superficial run deeper than you think. There’s always room for self improvement even if you have it all together.”

-E. G.

“What I loved most about working with Karyna was her authenticity. … Our work was honest, always respectful and empowering. Karyna is both direct and a touch playful, she exudes great inner strength.”

-kathleen fitzgerald, rn

“I loved the opportunity to be vulnerable and speak about what is on my mind without the fear of judgement. … Nurse Life coaching helped me become more guided on how to work on myself, but it also brought the realization that the only person who can make me happy is myself. … My experience with coaching was pivotal, helping me prepare to face a time in my life that used to scare me.”

-K.G.

“We found different ways to solve problems and make myself a priority without feeling guilty. … It was time just for me to talk about my emotions, knowing I don’t have to strive for perfection but give myself permission to show up for me.”

-L.W.

"I appreciated that my nurse coach wasn't afraid to ask the hard questions. She challenged me to look beyond the surface and explore thoughts and emotions I had never really taken the time to process. Those conversations helped me grow in ways I wasn't expecting.”

-N. L. .

a little about me

Karyna Samets, MSN, RN

I moved from Grodno, Belarus, to the US when I was seven. Growing up as an immigrant, I translated, facilitated, solved. Being mature was a requirement, not a choice. I became independent, strong-willed, and good at reading people. But knowing how to handle things didn’t mean I knew what I wanted for myself.

My love of wellness and curiosity about people led me to nursing, then nurse practitioner school. On paper, it all looked pretty. Higher education. Medicine. Financial success. But the further I went, the heavier it felt. I kept pushing because it was the path I’d chosen, so I should follow through… right?

Then my therapist asked: “You used the word ‘hate’ so many times to describe your experience. Is that really how you want to be living?”

Within two weeks, I quit the program and chose to complete my master’s in nursing instead. I didn’t know what came next, but I trusted myself to figure it out.

That decision changed more than my career. It opened up a question I hadn’t given myself permission to ask: what do I actually want?

I started building a life where I was an active participant. Not a passerby.

When I discovered coaching, everything clicked. Here was a way to bring together my love of deep conversations, personal growth, and understanding why we do what we do. So I completed my nurse life coach certification and said yes to the purpose I’d felt but hadn’t had the words for.

My bestie calls me “directorovna”—her own spin on “director.” I’m direct, curious, and passionate about encouraging others to be the directors of their own lives.

We’ve only got one, y’all. Or maybe more, if you believe in reincarnation. But that’s beside the point—let’s make this one count.

If you choose this path for yourself, I’m honored to join you.
